Our Favourite Running Routes in Chilliwack


Elk Mountain

This hike is rated hard and though it boasts 790m of vertical gain and loss, it is well worth the effort with sweeping views of the Valley and the mountain ranges of the Chilliwack River Valley and Mt. Baker.

Vedder Mountain

You can choose almost any route here with ample single track (*multi use trails), however a popular chocie is the Vedder Ridge trail!

Qoqó:lem Trail

A great double wide, gravel trail with a solid consistent climb and sweeping views of the valley from the top!

Cultus Lake Provincial Park

This area offers various options including the popular route Teapot Hill as well as options to hike to old growth trees along the Seven Sisters trail. There are short options as well as longer point to point routes within the park.

Chilliwack River Valley

This is another area with various routes and options for all levels, from the gentle Trans Canada Trail to epic climbs like Mount MacFarlane, you could spend a lot of time hiking and running in this area!
